The Contest

Capcom has generously teamed up with deviantART to try and create fan-art for their multi-award winning game Okami for the Nintendo Wii, in celebration of its long awaited release on launch date here</i> WE challenge YOU to create original, mind-blowing, out of this world ART inspired by the beautiful Sumi-e artwork featured by Okami using all the Skills at your disposal, whether you are a Traditional Artist or use Digital Media.

The Rules

Adhere to the guidelines below:

  Entrants must be 13 years old or older to participate in the Okami Fan Art Contest
  
• 
  Entries are to be inspired by the game, Okami, but not derivative of it or other privately owned property;
  
• 
  You may submit more than one entry;
  
• 
  Online entries only, hardcopies are not accepted;
  
• 
  The design must be 100% your work;
  
• 
  No copyrighted images can be used in any way except for the creative resources linked below.
  
• 
  Minimum resolution requirements: 2550 x 3300, 300 dpi;
  
• 
  Residents of Quebec are eligible to compete but are not eligible for prizes
