Out of the 15 semi-finalists,
three winners have been chosen for the EVE Online "Create A Starship" contest. Before we show off the
ships that made the top 3, deviantART wants to give a big thank-you to the members of the EVE Online
creative team who picked the intergalactic winners, as well as everyone who participated. CCP has its
own special message about the winners:
"CCP would like to thank deviantART, the dA community, and the EVE community for participating
in this contest. A very cool EVE ship won out of over 3,800 entries. The sheer number of entries was
huge, and the images went from mildly insane to stunningly beautiful. We understand that there is a
huge outcry from the EVE community about the semi-finalist round suggestion, but dA ran a good contest.
Ultimately they had to judge a subjective thing, art, which is never easy. What came out of that process
was a really cool Minmatar ship to be added to the EVE universe."
So, check the out-of-this-world winners below and catch a glimpse of the deviants who scored tons of stellar
loot – including iPads, Wacom tablets, and deviantWear! Pay special attention to the first place ship, because
you'll be able to fly it around the EVE Online universe very soon!

Captured the feel of the Gallente, front heavy
captured very well, elegant curves captured along
with blocky shapes, slightly less industrialized as
Gallente should be, good render in a dark cinematic style.

Clearly a Minmatar ship, bridge and solar

Also why did you pick 2 minmitar type ships to win? Couldn't you have separated it into 1 winner for each of the 4 races? would of been much better.
