Hello! There's been a lot going on and I wanted to share a few updates from the Community Relations Team
First off, The communityrelations group has been on hiatus and recently, under construction but will be relaunching very soon! So look forward to getting all your updates from our team there! We're very excited to get the group up and running again and reconnecting with our members
I also want to take this time to thank some of our former team members who terms have recently ended. Please join me in sending lots of love and admiration to kingmancheng. TimberClipse, Oughter, cinyu, and isthisthingstillon. Thank you for being part of this wild ride with us
There will be new members of the team selected as I'm currently going through the vast amount of applications. We also recently updated the application to volunteer, which you can find here but should you be interested in applying, please read this first. There are never enough positions for the amount of interest and because of that, I am working on developing ways to involve more community members in a variety of Community Relations project and events, so please stay tuned!
This last bit is more about a feature I've been doing for, what seems like forever -- Pimps and Whoas. It's been on hiatus for some time because the interest didn't seem to be there and putting it together was a herculean amount of work. My questions is, is this a feature you want me to bring back? Or should I focus on new features? your feedback is appreciated!

Many of the fashion groups on DA are no longer active, so I wanted to create a space for fashion photographers and models to get together and share their work, their knowledge, as well as to find inspiration in each other. DA-Fashion is a group for fashion photographers and models of all skill levels, ages, and backgrounds. We like a variety of fashion styles, and if it's fashion, we want to see it!
My co-founder Mrs-Durden was the fashion photography CV before me, and is currently a general photography CV. I am so excited to have her on the team, since we both have a deep appreciation for fashion photography, as well as different tastes for it.

In February I introduced the first issue of this new journal series I am very excited about. I had this idea where I wanted to do a series that showcases the immense diversity of people we have as members here on DeviantArt. And I wanted to try something a little bit different with regards to interviews. Instead of interviewing multiple artists by asking them a series of in depth questions, I decided I would come up with just one question, and ask it to a large number of deviants from different artistic mediums, different backgrounds, different countries, etc. This way, you, the reader, get to discover the insights, opinions and experiences of a huge variety of fellow members all at once. I really hope you guys will enjoy this, last issue got a lot of amazing responses, please let me know if there are specific questions you'd like me to ask in future issues!
