I for one would like to see some "how to' topics or perhaps tutorials with suggestions on colour preservation, both in digital photos and in the transferring of film photos to digital (via scanning). I am constantly bombarded with the problems associated with differing colour profiles assigned to different hardware (and software) devices. For instance, wouldn't it be wonderful if we could scan a colour image into the computer, view it onscreen, and print a copy of it, and ALL THREE pictures will render colour and value etcetera precisely the same? That would almost be trippy ...
Ur one of the best, moonbeam, and I have every confidence that you or someone among your vast resources can dialogue this complicated problem into something tangible and lucid for all of us to learn!
I would like to see articles where photographers can explain the process behind various photographies. Topics like blender, shutter, lighting, flash/studio lights, how experimenting with various techniques influences the result in the end. Also discuss dark-room editing and similar type of editing/manipulation in photoshop or Gimp or whatever the artist likes to work with. This type of articles can realy inspire and help develop many unexperienced photo artists.
Let's see, right now, the most helpful thing for me would be something on action photography, or long exposures, low lighting situations. Yes, anything having to do with shooting band performances. That would ROCK! Of course `Ghouldaddy gave me some pointers, but I would love to get some more in-depth advice. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
