How To Participate

DeviantART and Wacom are proud to present the second Intuos4 "Bring Your Vision To Life" contest! The response to the first "Bring Your Vision to Life" contest and the quality of the entries were amazing, and Wacom is very glad to be back to challenge our community for a second round. Wacom loves the talent, creativity, and boundless energy that deviants have, so let's wow them again!

While the first contest tackled "Good vs. Evil", the theme this time is "Dreams". The contest, open to artists of all visual mediums anywhere in the world, challenges you to show us your dreams and aspirations for the future. Do you long to go to medical school and become a doctor? Do you dream of settling down and starting a family? Maybe you have more lofty dreams of world peace and to put an end to global hunger, or maybe you simply want to do well on an upcoming exam. Show us your hopes and dreams for the future, and bring them to life!

Your entry will be judged on its originality, creative interpretation of the theme, and technical skill. One of the winners will be chosen by you, the wonderful deviantART community!

  • Create a piece of art in any visual medium based on the "Dreams" theme
  • Upload your submission as a jpg, gif, or png file
  • There is a special Community Choice winner based on the entry with the highest number of Favorite's received between 12:00:00 AM (PT) December 16, 2009 and 11:59:59 PM (PT) December 22, 2009, so be sure to get all you friends involved and come back to vote! Remember, only favorites received within that time frame count!

Rules

Judging

Entry must be received by 11:59:59 PM PT on December 8, 2009 and be submitted to the Contest gallery on www.deviantart.com "click here."

  • Entrants must be 13 years or older to participate;
  • Entries must be submitted in one of the following file formats: GIF/PNG/JPG, but may originate in any visual medium;
  • Entries must not have been previously published or won any other prize/award;
  • You may submit more than one entry;
  • Only one entry per Entrant will be selected as a semi-finalist entry;
  • Online entries only, hard copies not accepted;
  • Entry may not use any watermarks or distinguishing artist marks;
  • Any attempt to create false "favorites" or to use in any way accounts which are not genuine for the purpose of generating "favorites" will result in disqualification.
  • You must be a member of deviantART.com to enter.
    Membership is free.

Your work will be judged on the basis of Originality, Creative Interpretation of the Theme, and Technical Skill.

First, second, and third prize winners will be selected by a judging panel consisting of Wacom worldwide staff including:

  • Wacom's Global Evangelist Manager
  • Wacom's Manager of Corporate Marketing for Europe, Middle East and Africa
  • Wacom's Director of Marketing Communications for the Americas.

Dodge Dart Inspired By You ContestSix artists will have their amazing works of art displayed in a pop-up gallery at the Dodge-Chrysler Headquarters and score cash, iPads, and other awesome prizing.
