THE WINNERS

photograph that reveals a deeper story within the image. Now that
the contest is over, we are very happy to say that the devious

We'd like to give a huge "Thank you!" to renowned portrait
photographer and director of THE AMERICAN Anton Corbijn
for
choosing the final three winners from the wonderful 25 Semi-Finalists. It was a difficult task and
we are so excited that he accepted the challenge.

Wow, this contest had so many twists and turns! I'm very surprised to discover the new winners! While the other two pictures were nice, I think these new winning photos are far more interesting. I thought that the 2nd place photo definitely deserved a prize, and was shocked to find in the beginning that it had not won anything at all. What a pleasant turn of events. Though I made the semi-finals and didn't make the top three, I can definitely live with this result, and feel that these two photos are deserving. Congratulations. Judges, thank you for righting a wrong. I just wish it had been handled better, because the two who were disqualified took two spots away from the semi-finals, which means two qualified photos from two additional people could have take their place in the judging. This contest was botched beyond belief. I hope we learned from these mistakes! ;)
