Have your art featured in a collection of beautiful seasonal shots taken by some of the most talented photographers on deviantART!
With the Sony DSLR Calendar Contest, we're asking you to submit gorgeous photos of any subject matter depicting your favorite season (winter, spring, autumn, or summer) to contribute to one mighty awesome calendar. The 12 best images will go into a one-of-a-kind, deviant-created calendar and will be sold in the deviantART Shop.
This time you can enter a photo that was taken before the contest began. So, if you have the perfect seasonal picture chilling in your gallery already, you can submit it for your chance to win a slot in the deviantART Sony DSLR 2011 Calendar in addition to more awesome prizes!

Two Grand Prize winners will be featured in the Calendar as either the front or back cover, as well as appearing in the Calendar. They will also receive:
- Sony a55 DSLR with 18-55 mm lens
- $250 USD
- deviantART camera bag
- A copy of the Calendar
- 400 deviantART Points
- One year Premium Membership to deviantART
The other ten winners will each appear as a month in the Calendar. They will also receive:
- $100 USD

- One year Premium Membership to deviantART
Entry must be received by 11:59:59 PM (PT) on December 6, 2010 and be submitted to the Promotion gallery on www.deviantart.com "click here."
- Entrants must be at least 13 years old and a United States resident to participate;
- Entries must be in JPG or PNG file format;
- Entries must be a minimum of 1650×1275 pixels. Entries that are above the minimum pixel requirement are also acceptable. For more information on how to determine the size of your Entry, refer to the tutorial here: http://st.deviantart.net/news/sony/a55-calendar/tutorial/
- Entries may not consist of multiple pictures other than for the purposes of HDR and/or in-camera multiple exposures;
- Entries may not have been submitted to any other contest or promotion;
- Entries may not use any watermarks or distinguishing artist marks (such as prominent signatures);
- You may submit more than one entry;
- Online entries only, hard copies not accepted;
- You must be a member of deviantART to enter. Membership is free.
40 semi-finalists (10 semi-finalists representing each of the 4 seasons) will be selected by full-time deviantART Staff on the basis of Expression of the Applicable Season, Technical Excellence, Creativity, and Appropriateness to Appearance in a Calendar Product.
From those semi-finalists, 3 winners from each season will be chosen by a professional photographer member of deviantART who has not participated as a contest entrant and who will be identified, and thanked profusely, only after the contest is concluded.
