Just a few random bits of information that may or may not interest you while I work through finishing my incessant need to organize my house and office.

1.  If you haven't checked out dxd's journal you should.  If I could fave journals, this would certainly be at the top of the list.

2. There are many new things coming out of Artist Relations that we're very excited to share with you, soon.. sooooooooon.

3. I once again was honored by the <a href='www.thespiderawards.com>2005 Black and White Spider Awards and while I wasn't a winner I did get nominated in two categories (abstract and still life), beating out scores of other entrants for those nominee positions.  One day maybe I'll win but I'm satisfied with myself and my progress as a photographer.  Over the next couple of months they will move the information about the 2005 outcome to the front page

4. I had a Native birth chart completed that gave me the following information:

My elemental clan is the Butterfly Clan - Clan of the Air which means (I'm summarizing because it's huge) that I am graceful, energetic, exotic and buoyant (no not fat). I also tend to be lighthearted, idealistic and visonary. I seek evolution for myself, the species and the entire planet. I can also be open-minded to a point that infuriates others

It is the butterfly clan people who most like to play games, make jokes and bring the gift of humor to those who tend to take their journey around the medicine wheel a bit too seriously.

My animal totem is the deer which represents the heart and is the gatekeeper to the spirit world. Deers excel in adaptability, camouflage, grace, beauty, speed, healing, sensitivity, altertness, creativity, heart energy and connection with spirit.

My plant totem is moss agate which helps to remove the boundaries between mental and emotional bodies. it helps to find truth and courage within, even in difficult circumstances. It alleviates depression, enhances ability to dream as well as ground and energize.

My color totem is white and green where the white represents formlessness, perfect purity, and innocence. The green is healing and deep restoration.

My plant totem is the yarrow which is to stimulate my inner strength

Interesting in it's full versions and I guess symbolic of where I am and what I'm enduring right now.

5. I'm hosting Christmas for 19 of my family members this year.  Egads.  My list of things to do before that happens is obsene even to me and causing my OCD to fly right out of control.

6. Grandmombeam Update: - On January 4th she will be going in for surgery to remove a portion of her lung.  They are optimistic that she will recover well but it will be a challenge for her to say the least.  This news was positive.  The concerning part was the unidentifiable spot they have found on her liver.  She is schedueled for an MRI to determine what that nasty surprise is all about.
