Pura Vida (Update)

Grandmombeam update Her exploratory surgery was yesterday and we are now certain we are dealing with cancer on her lung.  It has grown very quickly however, by naked eye there are no signs of it having travelled to anywhere else, nor spread to the lymph nodes.  The doctor will be going over the biopsies in those areas to ensure it hasn't spread, as well as consult the results of her other tests to decide the next course of action.  It would appear that she will be heading to surgery to have half of her lung removed but I'll know that better early next week I hope.

Thank you for the love and support I have passed it on to her and it's very appreciated from all of us.

I am home safe and in catch-up mode.  I will write a journal on my experience later, I just wanted to let you know I'm back in business.  Please grant me some patience as I weed through the hundreds of emails and notes in my cue.  I will get this cleared up by the weekend
