Moonbeam13's Journal
I don't feature enough literature. I know that and I intend to fix that but right now I'm inspired because someone wrote about the possibility of being a line. That's right folks..
I'm not silly enough to think that if I post a bunch of literature thumbs you're going to read them. It's not a quick fix like visual art, you have to make an effort to enjoy it, you have to be part of the conversation.
So I present to you this piece by ~
dailenna that I fell in love with because of it's honest simplicity and because it made me feel inspired at the end.

I ask you to read "If I Were a Line" and then I challenge you to read another literature piece and post a journal about it encouraging your watchers to read it and write a journal about something they read.. we can start a movement here, we can shine the light on this often overlooked artform.

Laugh and be merry, playing thy part,
Laugh, Punchinello, for the joy that is ended,
Laugh for the pain that is breaking thy heart.

i've actually wanted to do this myself for some time but i've felt there was one obstacle which was that the lit-thumbs in journals dont do the whole magical-scrolly thing that they do in the main DA gallery.. i know that's not a biggy but it does add a lot of tease factor and i imagine it would draw more viewers to actually *click* once they got a peek of a few lines.. i thought of copy/pasting features pieces right into my journal so you read it right there, but that wouldnt feel right to me even with permission and credits and all.. PLUS it would decrease the potential of comments and faves going the artists way.. i'd appreciate your thoughts on this, its something i've been wondering about for some time now.
