Watch Forever (aka epic name drop)I know I'm late on the train but I love the sentiment of this. My life wouldn't be the same without dA and my positive experience on this site would definetly not be the same without these beautiful people! Their art, spirit, and friendship has inspired me in many different ways. The list is mostly in alphabetical order as I went through my whole watchlist (I still feel like I'm missing some people though due to username changes etc.). I was amazed at how nostalgic this made me. How so many people I love have left and how so many great people are still here!
Am I Too Late?Because I love a good meme. #WatchForever
#Watching forever these tagsDid this not so long ago already, but seems like it's a thing these days and got tagged twice already D:
Learn This: Glitter your lifeWelcome to a CV project that has been years in the making. YES! Even before we knew we would be volunteers--ages before we even knew DeviantArt existed--we were working on this collection of tutorials to bring only the most refined and technologically advanced methods to your interweb doorstep.
Learn This: Fashion PhotographyEDIT: This might have been just a silly April Fool's joke, but I hope it exposed you to some new tools in Photoshop that you haven't used before! Both the gradient tool and selective color adjustment layers are things that I do use a lot! Just not quite to this extent of course

Tags are the new KeywordsKeywords on deviations were built to be an important tool to help discover artwork. But as deviantART grows and strives to create new ways to discover great content, we’ve found that keywords as we currently use them have become underutilized. We think we can do better -- and can make a better experience for the community -- by making some changes.Tags are the new Keywords by Heidi More Like This

New Username Symbols: Extended ThoughtsTwo weeks ago, we released two new products – deviant and art Mentions and new username symbols. Gratefully, and as we'd hoped, many deviants are embracing these changes in exactly the ways we'd anticipated, and the ways we ourselves did over the past several months of testing. While some deviants embraced the changes, it's fair to say that others have felt surprise, curiosity, and maybe even shock. These feelings are totally normal, but for the large part, there's a hope present. A positive outlook. The first steps in a new era that makes the way for our goals in the future, and, at the same time, removes clutter and confusion that new deviants often experience.New Username Symbols: Extended Thoughts by Heidi More Like This

Happy 13th birthday, and thank youToday marks deviantART's 13th birthday and a handful of us -- spyed, mccann, chris, and me -- have been on this amazing journey since pretty much day one. Thirteen years ago, most of us in that handful were just teenagers, unknowingly embarking on a time in our lives that would shape us, inspire us, and be truly thought-provoking in ways we could have never imagined. Today, I find myself so fortunate to play a role in the ongoing journey that has deviantART at the forefront of solving complex problems that affect the creative community.Happy 13th birthday, and thank you by Heidi More Like This
Profile DiscussionThe DeviantArt Timeline entries from the past few months have discussed how we’re focusing on user experience for DeviantArt and ways to make the site more intuitive. In this journal, we'd like to kick off a discussion on another big design-related milestone: to improve the profile experience on the site, mobile web, and mobile apps.Profile Discussion by Heidi More Like This
Time and effort, how they relate to artAs 36.6 million viewers know, The Academy Awards (aka The Oscars) aired last week, and there were some surprising outcomes. It's very trendy to list the Oscar Snubs that drop your jaw — I'mma let you finish, but "Interstellar" was one of the greatest space films of all time! (okay, that’s a stretch, but I still enjoyed it) — and I can't tell if I'm just watching the wrong things, but it does seem like less and less of the movies I happen to see in theaters actually get nominated. But, maybe that’s just me.Time and effort, how they relate to art by Heidi More Like This
deviantART was on TV + join the art challenge!A long time ago (about 24 hours), in a galaxy far, far away (down the road in Hollywood), comedian and television host Chris Hardwick introduced a segment on his late-night Comedy Central show — aptly titled @midnight (get it?) — that got many of us at deviantART all aflutter.deviantART was on TV + join the art challenge! by Heidi More Like This

Deviant-Hunting Videos and People's Choice AwardEarlier today, danlev pointed me in the direction of Deviant-Hunting – a group run by ImportAutumn that highlights exciting and deserving deviations by featuring them in YouTube videos. Each episode contains an amazing look at artists, regardless of how long they've been on deviantART or how popular they are. Episode six was just released yesterday, and it's definitely a great watch.Deviant-Hunting Videos and People's Choice Award by Heidi More Like This
Celebrate DeviantArt's 15th Birthday! As DeviantArt enters its 15th year on the Internet, we want to take a moment before blowing out our candles to thank the community for allowing us the honor of hosting the site that you call your home for art. After all, it's the community's 15th birthday, too, and in the past few months, we've been making it our top priority to share with you our plans for the future, celebrate the successes of our past, and look to you for guidance on how best we can serve each of you while entering this new phase of DeviantArt's existence.Celebrate DeviantArt's 15th Birthday! by Heidi More Like This
