It was hard not to fall in love with her. I found her in Kensington Market in Toronto and watched her chalking the side of the building while her family sold their wares in the marketplace. I'd been focused on her for about 15 minutes when she finally turned. She came over to see the picture when I was done and decided she looked pretty enough for me to keep it.
I love children. ** Editing note: For those of you getting this again in your message bank, I simply removed some of the extra space at the top. ** Commentshey, i can see that you've been studying composition! great capture of street life. her expression is almost, "i've been caught in the act! look cool. look cool..." anyway, back to the composition. i like the diagonal line of boxes you've put in there, and the girl's face being close to the thirds. i'd crop it a bit from the top because there's some slack space up there, but this is a great step forward for you.
